Meanwhile, the Bronze Roll has three masters as iOS Engineer Demetri Miller, Android VP of Engineering Kelly Merrell and iOS Engineer Ian Blue all tie for third.

Apple introduces iOS 10, watchOS 3, tvOS 10 and macOS Sierra. Key iOS feature additions include third-party extensibility for Messages, Apple Maps and Siri. Key consumer additions to iOS include 3D Touch, additional emojis, a new Maps app, Home and algorithmic search for Photos.

Google announces an update to Android 3.1 “Honeycomb” and previews Android 4.0 “Ice Cream Sandwich.” Honeycomb is the first version of Android optimized for tablets, while Ice Cream Sandwich brings significant improvements to the UI. Google Music and Chromebooks are also introduced.
