Mercury got its start over 20 years ago, first in web development and then desktop applications. With the launch of Apple’s App Store for iPhone in 2008, we found ourselves perfectly poised to make the leap to mobile, and we soon developed the first native iPhone, iPad and Android applications for some of the world’s leading media companies including CNN, USA Today, New York Times, Comcast, Showtime and TED.
Our iOS and Android apps have been downloaded more than 100 million times, a testament to our passion for delivering the most seamless, intuitive user experience possible. As a result, we are regularly recognized for our achievements in performance and design and are often recommended by Apple and Google, who understand our commitment to creating outstanding app experiences.
