Merging the Old and the New
Retail systems are notoriously difficult to navigate. Due to URBN’s extensive history, their customer base was divided between a legacy CRM and a more modern system. This created difficulties in the account sign-in process.
Being Adaptable to Stops and Starts
URBN’s tech team is responsible for servicing multiple brands. As a result, priorities can shift frequently, sometimes leading to pauses and delays in the project cycle.
Results
Our partnership with URBN helped transform their mobile retail presence across multiple iconic brands. On Android, we crafted engaging shopping experiences from the ground up, delivering UX/UI design and full development that resonates with URBN's fashion-forward audience.
For iOS, we engineered a seamless native checkout solution to power transactions across Anthropologie, Free People, and Urban Outfitters—making mobile shopping as stylish as the brands themselves. Our work extended beyond traditional retail, including innovative iPad experiences and restaurant app concepts that showcase URBN's expanding digital horizons.
For Nuuly, we helped create and deploy their warehouse fulfillment systems across both fixed kiosk stations as well as hand-held mobile phone applications that helped them scale and optimize their warehouse operations. Then, when they opened another warehouse across the country, we helped replicate that solution across multiple fulfillment centers.
